I have provided this page, so that several sites can use International Reunions Chat as
their own. By having several travel sites use this chat room, we should be able to
generate a steady flow of traffic to the chat room. If you have ever tried setting up a
chat room on your site, you know how difficult this can be - even if you have a site with
a great deal of traffic. Use the instructions on this page to set up International Reunions Chat for
you own site. By following these instructions, you can set up a chat on your site
that your visitors can go to that will have your navigation bar above it, but will have
visitors from several travel-related sites. Note:
Of course, you can also link to the chat as-is without doing any editing, or simply put
any frame over the base chat. Several months ago I set up a general chat using the
same chat server - (It doesn't have many of features that this chat has, but it has
been highly successful, just the same). You will be able to take the greatest
advantage of the chat room if you frame it and give it your own navigation bar. |

You will need to create the following two files:
| chat2.htm |
This file is the top frame that will have your site name and your navigation bar
links. . See Editing chat2.htm. |
| chattravel.htm |
This file is the file people link to to chat. It tell the system how to lay out the
frames for the page and what to put in them. You will edit this file to specify the URL of
chat1.htm for your site. See Editing

- Copy the HTML in the box below into a file called chat2.htm on your server.
- Edit the red text as follows:
- Change http://www.arizonapersian.com/persian/Travel1.gif
to the URL of an image on your server that
identifies your site.
- Change http://arizonapersian.com to the
URLs of a links to a pages on your site. (for example, the URL of your home page).
- Change link1 to the Page name of a link to
a page on your site. (For example: HOME)
- Repeat steps b and c for the other link addresses
and descriptions in red.
