Dear rachael, Dezin is a good choice for skiing but you should also visit Shemshak on the back side of Dezin slope. Once you ski in shemshak you would ski no where else. concerning hotels in Dezin, there are to big hotels right at the skilifts, Dezin 1 and Dezin 2. Dezin 1 is a family hotel, dezin 2 for men singles. As foreiner with no iraniian passport you have to pay accommodations in us-dollar which will become very expensive. If you have friends or relatives in Iran let them make reservastion and downpayment because as iranian you pay in Rials which is very yery cheeper. You can also lease appartments or houses from the local people living there. I suggest you should do this, if you have friends over their, because than you have more privacy for partying and apres ski. Best time for skiing in Dezin is from the end of January til the beginning of April. In December, if you have bad luck there will be only little snow. as Iran is an islamic Repuplic there is no nightlifwe allowed as you are used to it in us or europe. The only thing are restaurants tee-houses with little pietic music. There is no disco, no bar , no dancing and drinking in public places. 羖l is done hidden in private. Therefore I suggested to lease private appartment because than you can party, and householder will supply you with iraning whiskey, which is very good. I hope it was a little help for your trip.
