The assumption that "Turks do not belong to Iran" and "Turkey being the sole country of Turks" is totally baseless.

The Turks of Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Caucasus, Khorasan are all descendants of Turkomans of the great Saljuk Empire. None of them can claim to be the "mother" of others, they are peers. They speak very close dialects, they all speak Oghuz Turkish.

Oghuz Turks have dominated the Middle East in the last millenium. They have formed various states : the Saljukid empire, various lesser Saljukid states, the Atabek states, the Aqqoyunlu and Qaraqoyunlu states, tha Qaramanli state, the Ottoman empire, the Safavid empire, the Afsharid state, the Qachar state.

The Ilkhanid state and the Timurid empire was formed by central Asian Turks.

So it is not "Turks do not belong to Iran", but "Iran belongs to Turks".

Turks "colonized" the middle east about a thousand years ago, just as the Aryans did the same thing about a couple of thousand years ago. The original homeland of Turanians is said to be central/inner asia, whereas the original homeland of Iranians is said to be eurasia.
