In Azar-16 Q/A between Khatami and student representatives from Iran universities at Sharif, one could clearly notic the level of frustration and anger of students over Khatami's lack of measures to uphold the law, the main theme of his campaign promises. Also it was interesting to note Khatami's position on the main problem, the hooligans (those organized criminals that are tightening the rope around peopl'e neck with ever more pressure) as people who sacrificed more for the revolution and naturally are trying to safegaurd its values. It seems that Khatami wants to portray and to work based on pretext that Iran as a nation needs time to understand the rule of law and his 'jAme-eh madani'. On the other hand students have realized that core of this problem is a self-served , self-written constitution that from its genesis was designed to create and safegaurd an Akhunds dynasty through the Akhund made concept of 'Velayat Faghih' and dynasty further consolidated by creation of other institutions such as 'Shora-ye Negahban', and 'komiteh tashkhise maslahate nezAm'. The irony is that with all these safeguards the regim is still not willing even to abide by its own rules. And it is in this very conflict that Khatami is showing his true character. That is, someone who held the position of the ministery of culture and Islamic gauidance for 10 years, helped the machinery of war propaganda, and unlike Montazeri and others kept quiet throughout the worst years of this despotic regim and its killing machine. Now that by pure chance of coincidence and as a result of a NO vote to the dominant faction of the goverment he has come to power but incapable of breaking away from his true roots.

Unfortunately it took several brutal murders in a row for some to get to know his hypocracy. Now, Khatami and his cabinet who have been running people deaf with their slogan of 'jAme-eh madani', who are very well aware of those behind these murders once more very foolishly are persuing the official policy of contributing these murders as others to foreign agents. If Khatami had any honosty and dignity and wanted to portray himself as someone who is on the side of the law and on the side of the people clearly these unfortunate incidents was his last chance before the judgment of Iranian people.
