It seems that you're suffering from the same ignorance that the laypeople of the western society suffer.

Let me educate you a bit:

1) Iran has always been Iran to the people of this land. This is evidenced by our rich litrary history. It may have been mentioned in different forms in the litrature, eg "Iranzamin" or "Iranshahr" both meaning "land of the Aryans". The word Iran means "Aryan". See other postings in this forum for more details.

2) We did not change our name from Persia to Iran. Persia as you know is a province in Iran, and the name has been embedded in the western minds by the Greeks. We simply asked them to call us for what we call ourselves. There are other countries in the world today that call themselves differently, eg do you know where Hellas, Hrvtska, Deutchland, Nippon etc are?

3) What you see through the postings of this forum, are not just fabricated bullshit. These are facts and the sentiments of lovers of Iran who are utterly fed up with the way the current self-interested dictators are abusing people's belief. The sooner we get rid of this mob the better.

4) There is no connection between Nazi's Aryan and the true Aryan. Hitler was a disturbed man who borrowed this term to differentiate his Germanic people from the jews. The true Aryans of Iran respect all races and religions.

5) Aryans are a member of the white race. You are agian confused. Those balck haired, brown skinned people, are indians and desert dwelling Arabs. Do not confuse the artificial geo-political boundaries that separate Europe from Asia, where then magically everything becomes different.

6) We do want to free Iran from this chain that we have been dragging for the past 14 centuries. And this my friend is the true cause of our present problem.
