Recent murders and assassinations by the fascist Mollahs, trying to silence and eliminate anyone who is critical of their reign of terror and tyranny, has added several other victims to a long list of thousands that have died opposing their dictatorship and clerical fascism in Iran. Their violence and barbaric brutality against the Iranian people has gone so far that even its own President was _forced to _allude to its nature when _questioned at a gathering of the students at Sharif University on the occasion of Shanzdah Azar, an anti-fascist day, honored by the Iranian students for decades. Indeed, Khatami had to use the term _"religious fascism" and state that: ``We should beware of justifying fascism on the basis of religion,'' something that his audiance already knew for a long time and had actually prompted the question put to him.
Now the fascist propaganda in Iran has gone into full swing, not only criticizing Khatami for implicitly admitting the nature of this regime already known to all Iranians, but also trying to divert attention and cover up their _own _atrocities.
They are well experienced in finding scapegoats and as usual are trying to accuse foreigners and their agents for the crimes they have commited themsleves and have been commiting for two decades against the Iranian people.
But these gimmicks and chicanery, though effective with a segment of the population_ twenty years ago, can _no _longer _deceive the Iranian people. Fascism in Iran is reaching its end and the Iranian people are writing its concluding chapter before they close its book, and no fascist propaganda can save it from its destiny.
As all fascist regimes, Clerical Fascism requries fascist propaganda. It is an important element in justifying its existance and maintaining its bloody grip on the life and liberty of the Iranian people. Its special features and final objectives are described below.

Brand every criticism of the regime by secular Iranians as work of western foreign agents, fifth columns, Gharbzadehs (Westoxicated), Communist and Monarchists serving the enemies of Iran. Brand every criticism of the regime by religious Moslems, including the Shi'ai clergy, as works of Monafeghs and/or foreign agents. Brand every Iranian Jew or Baha'i as a foreign agent, foment hatred against them, in order to attribute its own crimes to them. Brand every Iranian Christian as a suspect and potential recruit by the enemies of Iran in order to justify its persecutions. Brand every Iranian Sunni as either a Kafar or disloyal to Iran. Brand every ethnic minority as separatists bend on destroying Iran. Brand every Western visitor to Iran as a potential spy and attribute every failure to their conspiracies in order to cover up its own ignorance, incompetence, and deficiencies. Emphasis Shi'ai Islam and Mollah's twisted interpretation of Islam as the ideology of the State in order to _manipulate the religious tendencies and beliefs of the Iranian people. Create a cult of personality by elevating a person to the level of Imam or Supreme Leader with omnipotent and absolute power which demands unquestionable obedience by all. Emphasize religious gatherings, prayer and worship as acts of devotion to God and His representatives on earth, the fascist Mollahs, in order to indoctrinate as well as divert attention from all other socio-economic and political problems in the society. Control and use of the mass media to disseminate misinformation and lies in an attempt to manipulate and influence the minds of the Iranian people and to justify its existence and brutalities. Appeal to ignorance, prejudices, divisions and differences, among the people to gather support for its behavior, tight control, and violation of people's human and democratic rights. Use Censorship and complete repression to limit communication and association among Iranians and to isolate them from the the rest of the world and access to information. Create dress, private and public behavior codes with the objective of establishing a homogenous society, shaped by them and obedient to them, and in order to eradicate diversity and independence of thought and action. Use public education to indoctrinate young minds and preach their twisted ideology and fascist precepts disguised as Islamic and Iranian thoughts. Continuous purging of the Iranian people from its various public and private institutions with the hope of maintaining fascist control. Hold rigged elections with fabricated results to show widespread support for itself. Fabricate news, exaggerate events, magnify foreign threats, concoct national and international successes against enemies of Iran to paint itself as patriotic and cover up its betrayal of Iran and Iranians. Fabricate and falsify national socio-economic data and statistics to show its "great" and "magnanimous" accomplishments in order to cover up its own bankruptcy and failures in most spheres of the Iranian society and economy. Rewrite history for self-aggrandizement and for legitimizing their presence and justifying their barbaric actions. Control and monopolize the socio-political and economic institutions and communications to serve their own personal interests and for personal power and profits. Attribute every failurefalling price of oil, deteriorating exchange rate, depressed and stagnant economy, rising unemployment, declining real per capita income, deepened poverty, worsening distribution of income, industrial failures and lack of respect in international affairs to foreign conspiracies and fault of others in order to cover up for their own failures. Find scapegoats in order to cover up their gestapo tactics marked by cut-throat assassinations, "mysterious" disappearances which are _specifically _planned and _carried _out _by _themselves.
These are only some of the important features of this regime's fascist propaganda in its futile attempt to gather support for its reign of terror and tyranny. But the voice of _clerical _fascism shall soon be silenced and its corpse burried under the mighty march of the Iranian people toward the final realization of their freedom, equality, and democratic institutions in Iran.
